Very busy Sunday...I had a meeting at 11 am, baptism at noon, church for three hours, then home less than an hour for dinner and off to another 2 meetings. I left early because I haven't seen my family for two days! Yesterday was the Relief Society Temple trip, so we traveled to Columbus and back, and then had our date night last night. It is a good thing I have such an awesome husband who often has to be Mr. Mom. It is tough to strike a balance between church, family, friends, etc. Isn't that what life is all about though, trying to prioritize those important things in our lives. I really do feel grateful to be able to serve as the Young Woman President...it is a lot of work, but I love those girls and I know I have so much to learn in so many areas of life.
Anyway, the cutest thing about Cade...He has been so excited about starting T-ball. He is 5 and this is his first year being on a team (Midland Rockhounds). This last week was his first practice and he literally counted down the days for almost 2 weeks. So, on the way to practice he was telling Chris how excited he was to see the locker room and said, "Hey Dad, how many people are going to be there to watch our practice; do you think they're there yet?" So funny... He thinks his sports experience will be just like his Dad's and what he has seen as he travels around with him. Chris said he didn't seem too let down when they showed up to the community baseball fields and just the parents were there to watch their kids practice. He is such a determined little guy. This week we sat down to read a book and I asked him to read me the Dick and Jane book. He read about 50 pages and knew most of the words, and sounded out the rest. His memory is unbelievable, sometimes scary. He's getting too big!!
